
Daniel Irrgang is a scholar in the fields of media, art, and cultural studies. He is a visiting professor at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where he represents/subs the chair for Media Aesthetics and Media Technology. Previously, he was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies (IKK) at the University of Copenhagen, where he conducted research on the concept of ‘Thought exhibition”’(Bruno Latour & Peter Weibel). He is an associated researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute and the Einstein Center Digital Future, both in Berlin. Daniel holds a PhD in media studies, specializing in diagrammatics and expanded/embodied mind theories, with a case study on Vilém Flusser’s theory of the image. He is the author and editor of numerous books on the history and theory of media, culture, and the arts.
